Rotorua Zorbing

Today we left the magical forest of Lake Waikaremoana and drove 3 hours to Rotorua, one of NZ's big tourist centers, famous for its Geysirs and volcanic landscapes. It is also famous for the crazy things you can do here, such as sky-diving or bungy jumping. We decided that we can't leave NZ without having done at least one adrenaline-pumping thing, so we went "zorbing"!!! They put you in a giant plastic ball with a bunch of water and shove you down a hill... it's like being inside a giant washing machine and heck, it was sooo much fun! Markus and I went into one ball together and felt like two three year old kids slip-sliding down the slope. Of course Markus had to do the more scary zig-zag slope by himself... and was all smiles when he came out of the Zorb. We had the time of our lives and are now looking forward to explore the rest of Rotorua and attend a Maori Concert this evening.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It has been a while since I have been to the blog site due to the Holiday Weekend. We went home and had fantastic dinners at Grandma Root's and my Dad's. Renee and I were able to go on a date Fri night (plenty of willing grand parent baby sitters). This marks our second date in two weeks after an 8 month hiatus. We went to our favorite pizza joint back home and listened to old 80's tunes on their juke box. "You Spin Me Right Round.... Baby Right Round like a record baby. Right Round. Right Round". Awesome tune.

Zorbing looks sweet!!!! Can't say I would be as brave though. Water and me don't get along. But still a sweet concept. I would have done the bungy jump. I also like the glow worm rapids. That would have been awesome!!! We definately have to head to some of these places and experience it ourselves.

Well the fivecast here isn't lookin good. Sleet and Snow tommorow up to 6 inches by Monday. Hey want to switch locales? :)

Miss you guys. Sounds like things are going great.
